Hidden Contamination Assessment
Blood Contamination Is Not Always Visible
During professional blood cleanup in London, the
surrounding materials may need to be checked as well as the visible
stain. Blood can pass through carpets, enter flooring joints or reach
concealed layers that ordinary surface cleaning cannot access.
A surface may appear cleaner on top while contamination remains
beneath it or around nearby edges.
Carpets and underlay
Blood can pass through carpet fibres and remain within the
backing or absorbent underlay underneath.
Flooring and concealed edges
Laminate joints, floorboard gaps, skirting edges and thresholds
may hold contamination beyond the visible mark.
Upholstery and mattresses
Fabric seams, foam and internal padding may be affected even when
the outer surface shows only a limited stain.
Bathrooms and fixture gaps
Grout, sealant, fittings and wall edges may conceal contamination
that cannot be reached through surface wiping alone.
Hidden contamination does not automatically mean every material
must be removed. Each surface is assessed individually so we can explain what may be
treated and where removal may be the more practical option.
